CIG projects from 2004-2009 may be missing information in the following categories: Resource Concern (specific), Conservation Practice, Production/Use.

Showing 1441 - 1450 of 1760 projects

Black Range RC&D     |     NM     |     2007
Install moisture monitors to demonstrate effects of Brush Managment
Buffalo Rapids Project Board of Control     |     MT     |     2007
To assess the feasibility of applying ECC as a canal lining directly over soil and over a geotextile membrane using shotcrete methodology.
CARCD     |     CA     |     2007
Quantify PM10 reduction by using fine water mist apparatus attached to an agricultural disk and to validate the previously established emission factors for disking, substantiate the temperature-reducing effect of the fine water mist on the deated dust plume generated by disk, substantiate previous emission factors for disking.
Central Coast Vineyard Team     |     CA     |     2007
Conduct a pilot certification program for 10 vineyards in CA to encourage adoption of conservation practices aimed at water quality and erosion reduction, analyze and report on findings as a result of the program and perform workshops and outreach exhibiting the certification program.
Central Colorado Water Conservancy District     |     CO     |     2007
The project will establish two long-term monitoring sites in irrigated fields overlying the South Platte alluvial aquifer to monitor deep percolation of irrigation water and estimate its recharge return flow to the aquifer.

Cumberland-Salem Conservation District     |     NJ     |     2007
The objectives of this proposal are to educate the agricultural community about the benefits of implementing precision agriculture techniques, and to provide them with access to precision agriculture products (EZ-Guide Plus and EZ-Guide 500) to enhance water, soil and atmospheric resources. Water resources are enhanced by reducing the overlap and over application of spray materials and fertilizer, thus reducing nutrient and chemical runoff. Soil resources are enhanced though proper nutrient placement, and reduced soil compaction. Atmospheric/energy resources are enhanced through reduced fuel consumption and atmospheric emissions.
