The purpose of this award is for the grantee to determine the effect of different grazing treatments and rotations on sage-grouse Habitat selection and vital rates, particularly during the critical nest and brood periods, leading to fall and spring recruitment and provide specific metrics for predicting population responses under similar environmental conditions, which will have broad application for conservation and mitigation needs.
