Project Background
This innovative low literacy/language accessible project seeks to increase the conservation knowledge, production capacity, wildlife management and business skills of over 250 historically underserved immigrant and refugee beginning farmers at the Flats Mentor Farm (FMF) while protecting and enhancing the ecosystem we share with the adjacent Bolton Flats Wildlife Management Area refuge. This will be accomplished through the implementation of our Conservation Resource Enhancement Peer Mentoring System.
