Project Background
To demonstrate on-farm technologies such as variable rate irrigation, sensor-based irrigation scheduling, and deficit irrigation as well as the use of climate forecasts to support water withdrawal. Increasing adoption of these practices is critical for boosting crop productivity, reducing water withdrawals and enhancing long-term profitability of producers in the Southeast.
