Project Background
The objective of this project is to enable investments in, and increase the scale of, regenerative agriculture. To achieve this objective, this project will aggregate, standardize and apply tools and approaches to be used in the regenerative agriculture investment ecosystem. The project team will accomplish this by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce friction in the investment pipeline, and showcasing the pathways for sectoral growth by developing a toolkit to accelerate deal flow and facilitate transactions. The project team will use these tools to assess and structure the capital needed to operationalize and scale a network of regenerative, diversified farmers and associated value-added processing and distribution infrastructure to take high quality, nutrient-dense, regeneratively- produced food and feed to market. This approach will be demonstrated in the Driftless Area of Southwest Wisconsin.
