Project Background
1) examine the efficacy of sustainable weed management approaches (such as integrating conservation tillage with cover cropping and soil solarization) in increasing WUE, 2) evaluate in improvement of soil health is responsible for the increased WUE associated with sustainable weed management, 3) monitor weed densities and soil water storage properties associated with sustainable weed management practices, and 4) perform outreach activities to teach farmers how to improve WUE on their farms.
