Project Background
The purpose of the proposed project is to demonstrate the effectiveness of a pilot-scale meteorological “warning system" to inform livestock producers of days in which ammonia emissions are likely to be transported to RMNP so that producers can implement previously demonstrated conservation practices during critical days for ammonia volatilization and transport towards RMNP. The "warning system" will then be scaled for fully-functional, regional implementation.
