Capturing Available Renewable Energy Resources Through Improved Mitigation of Environmental Protection On-farms

This project will demonstrate and evaluate new methods in biomass digestion technologies for mitigating animal mortality and food waste disposal by using portable digesters on-farm, to provide biomass solutions in markets where previously unavailable and to replace existing practices of composting, burying, landfills, burning and open pond digestion, offsetting operational costs (water, gas, and electricity). It will make the connection between anaerobic digestion and the direct, beneficial effects on the soil.
