Project objectives (purpose and goals): We will form a Farmer Owned-Farmer Directed-Far Supported Environmental Stewardship CO-OP to promote resource conservation and sustainable agriculture methods in the Mid-South-with an initial focus on rice and methane reduction-through the creation and aggregation of carbon offsets, and the verification and certification of these conservation practices for sustainable branding or "green seal" opportunities, through the organization of a farmer-owned and operated resource conservation stewardship cooperative.
