Project Background
Through this project we will: 1. prepare a comprehensive EQIP adoptable leaf application practices guide, 2. promote increased adoption of non-tillage, permanent grass pasture based animal agriculture or more planting of permanent cash crop forages on appropriate soils, 3. test and demonstrate a new soil test tool for farmers, the Solvita Soil Biological Activity Test, and 4. encouraging greater municipal distribution of leaves for farmland application as demand increases.
