Privatelands Resource and Operations Management Training

The project intends to develop, field test, evaluate and implement a western land and resource management curriculm and certification regimen to increase the availability of professionals trained for employment as farm and ranch managers or related specialists. By qualifying new specialists for placement in the growing market for such managers, we expect to qualitatively improve the natural resources on private lands while measurably increasing the amount of land under management utilizing prescribed techniques and sustainable practices.
