It will optimize their efficiency, emissions and ash handling systems, and identify opportunities to improve combustion performance. Vermont grown and produced grass pellets will be used. It will also identify the most suitable species of grass to use as fuel in grass energy heating systems. This project will help grass energy become a viable option for heating and an additional revenue source for agricultural producers.
